Qur’an Homework: Memorize the first 2 Ayahs of Surah Al Falaq

 

Arabic: Today, we learned the letter “daad”. We learned the Arabic word for Frog is "dufda'a" and it begins with letter saad. We made "Frog" crafts, check our Google Photos.

Islam: Who is Prophet Muhammad? 

Islam HomeworkProphet Muhammad was born in Makkah. His father is Abdullah and his mother is Aminah.

  1. Prophet Muhammad believed that there is only one God – Allah (SWT)

  2. Whenever we hear people say “Prophet Muhammad” – we say “Sallah Allahu Alaihi wa salam”

  3.  Prophet Muhammad is the last Prophet

  4. Allah sent the Qur’an to Prophet Muhammad- The Qur’an is our Holy Book

  5. Muslims follow the example of Prophet Muhammad- he was the best man to ever walk the Earth!

  6. Prophet Muhammad is nicknamed Al Sadiq Al Amin : Because he was always honest & trustworthy. He never lies or steals. He is always kind and treats everyone equal!

Qur’an Homework: Memorize Surah Al Nas Ayah 5

 

Arabic: Today, we learned the letter “sheen”. 

Arabic Homework: Write Letter “seen” in Arabic Writing Book. Review Previous Letters

 

Islam: Today, we learned about the 5 pillars of Islam. We learned the 5th pillar of Islam is HAJJ. Hajj is when Muslims go to Makkah to Masjid al Kaaba. During Hajj, Muslims walk around the Kaaba 7 times. 

Islam Homework: Know that there are 5 Pillars of Islam. Know the order of the Pillars of Islam and what each Pillar is.

Qur’an Homework: Memorize Surah Al Nas Ayah 4

 

Arabic: Today, we learned the letter “seen”. We learned that the Arabic word for "Fish" is "Samaka". "Samaka" begins with the letter "seen". We did made "Samaka" for craft.

Islam: Today, we learned about the 5 pillars of Islam. We learned the 4th pillar is Zakat. The first Pillar is Shahada. The second pillar of Islam is Praying. The third pillar is Fasting.

Islam Homework: Know that there are 5 Pillars of Islam. The fourth pillar is Zakat. Zakat means giving money to poor people. We also discussed donating clothes, food and toys. Allah (SWT) loves when we help others and give them what they need.

Arabic: Today, we learned the letter “zaa”. We practiced writing our Arabic Letters and reviewed previous letters

Islam: Today, we learned about the 5 pillars of Islam. We learned the 3rd pillar is Fasting. The first Pillar is Shahada. The second pillar of Islam is Praying. 

Islam Homework: Know that there are 5 Pillars of Islam. The third pillar is Fasting. Fasting means no eating or drinking during the day time, but when the Sun goes away, Muslims can eat and drink. Muslims fast 30 days during a special month called Ramadan. When Ramadan is over, Muslims Celebrate Eid-ul-fitr.

Islam: Today, we learned about the 5 pillars of Islam. The first Pillar is Shahada. The second pillar of Islam is Praying. 

Islam Homework: Know that there are 5 Pillars of Islam. The second prayer is praying. Muslims pray 5 times a day; they are fajr, duhr, asr, maghrib, and ishaa.

Islam Homework: Know that there are 5 Pillars of Islam. The first Pillar of Islam is Shahada. Shahada means Believing in ONE GOD=Allah and Prophet Muhammad is the last messenger. Practice saying "Ashadu Anna La Illaha Illa Allah wa Ashadu Anna Muhammadan Rasool Allah"
