About Us
ICI Sunday School is the weekend Islamic school of the Islamic Center of Irving. We partner with families to nurture Ihsan: faith, character, and excellence in everyday life.
Our Vision
To be a center of applied Islamic knowledge for the youth of the DFW Muslim community.
Our Mission
To provide authentic Islamic education to the Muslim youth of the Dallas–Fort Worth area, empowering them not only to practice Islam faithfully, but also to understand its wisdom, appreciate its beauty, and embrace its teachings willingly and wholeheartedly. Through this knowledge and understanding, we aspire to nurture conscientious, confident, and engaged Muslim youth who become active, contributing members of society — shining examples of Islamic character and values, contributing to the strength, faith, and future of our Ummah.
Our Objectives
- To raise children to be true and practicing believers in Islam.
- To build character and raise well-mannered, respectful citizens.
- To instill confidence in our children so they can represent our community and relate Islamic beliefs and teachings to non-Muslims coherently and compellingly.
- To enhance the quality of Qur’an reading and memorization.
Our Theme: Ihsan
Doing what is right and beautiful — even when no one is watching.
What children learn
Ihsan in worship, Qur’an learning, honesty, kindness, respect, and responsibility.
What children practice
Making good choices when no one reminds them, treating others well, and trying their best for Allah.
We want Ihsan to be more than a lesson — it should become a habit and a way of life.
The Character We Hope to Nurture
Knowledge matters most when it shapes how we live.
Practicing faith
Remembering Allah and doing what is right, even when no one is watching.

A Partnership in Practicing Ihsan
Children thrive when home and Sunday School work together.
- Model Ihsan at home: doing what is right and beautiful, even when no one is watching.
- Encourage regular Qur’an practice and celebrate effort and progress.
- Stay connected with teachers and share your child’s needs, strengths, and questions.
- Get involved when you can — your time, feedback, and ideas strengthen our community.
Together, InshaAllah, let’s help our children make Ihsan a way of life.
We welcome your questions, ideas, and feedback. Contact us.
